The 16 Project
What is #The16Project? 'The 16 Project' is a movement for change where artists of a variety of different creative categories (singers, rappers, poets, etc.) express their emotions (about surroundings, the world, politics, etc.), support their cause or beliefs, and/or release frustrations about what's going on in the world within a safe, constructive craft such as music and art in '16 bars' or more. It's done through lyrics, paintings, spoken word, and more. Watch to learn more.

The 16 Project: Protect & Serve - Part 1 - caDASHtrophe
caDASHtrophe details the atmosphere created by the contradiction of law enforcement. The news has shown numerous occasions that the phrase, "To protect and serve", is just that--a phrase. He describes how the communities affected by random acts of police brutality are sometimes just as critical in their false sense of emotion that is sometimes short lived. This video was created to bring awareness and ultimately start a much needed conversation between people of power and the oppressed.
The 16 Project: Good Morning America - Part 2 - caDASHtrophe
Dash speaks on the appropriation of black culture and the double standards created by it. He states that there is a bias in the favor of the cultural appropriators that ironically places a negative light on those that the culture is stolen from. This in turn makes it difficult for people of the culture to be successful in their own lane. It's difficult to thrive with all of the factors working against us like police, racist gatekeepers, and those looking to gain off of our hard work and passion.

It is a short video show on YouTube that we will be releasing periodically. We will be launching this show very soon, so we urge you to get in touch with us right away. Not only is this good advertisement for your music, but it's a great way to dive deep into the soul of your work in a way that connects you to your audience and displays your level of talent and craftsmanship.
